Chief
Minister of Mizoram inaugurates Rosary school Bhosari
The
Aranhas' Rosary Education Group opened it's eleventh school at
Bhosari and doing the honours was Chief Minister of Mizoram , PU
Lalthanhawla.
The
function was initiated by the guests lighting the lamp and the chief
guest was felicitated with the traditional maharashtrain pugdi and
shawl . The Chairman of the Rosary Education Group , Mr. Vivek Aranha
spoke of the many achievements and the great heights that all the
schools in the group had reached , not only in academics but in the
field of sports and art as well . The tradition of 100% results which
has become synonymous with the word 'Rosary' is well known and has
been maintained for over 38 years . He said it was with great pride
that the Group would be spreading its' wings to another location and
on this quest to continue to reach out to hundreds more , will
empower youth through education . He thanked the Chief minister for
making the journey and honouring and adding to the joyous celebration
of the ceremony . Mr. Aranha extended the service of education to the
state of Mizoram by initiating a pathway and welcoming any students
who would want to benefit from the quality of education offered by
Rosary.
The
Chief Minister in his address , spoke of the various changes
occurring in Mizoram today , changes that are benefitting the
community at large . He spoke of the projects currently underway in
the state that are ensuring that the youth of Mizoram make headway
not only in the country but globally as well . He greatly appreciated
the invitation extended by Mr. Aranha , as he said interacting with
Mizo students currently studying in Pune has definitely been
rewarding and highly beneficial to them . He Thanked the Rosary
Education Group for the work they are doing and greatly appreciated
how they are helping the community at large . He wished the Group all
the very best and hoped to have many more such interactions with the
Group .

Rosary School Pune Cricket Coaching Camp
A special 15 day Cricket Coaching Camp was organized by the Rosary Education Group at the Poona Club Cricket grounds at the end of November 2012. This was exclusively for the students from the Rosary Education Group. Experienced cricketers imparted training to the participants under the guidance of Padma Bhushan Shri. Chandu Borde. The camp was concluded on the 7th of December 2012.
The concluding function was presided over by Padma Bhushan Shri. Chandu Borde. Certificates were awarded to the participants. The promising students demonstrating excellence were recognized by the Chairman. At this juncture, the Chairman announced that, here after such camps will be regularly organised. Special attention will be given to the students and the children showing great promise will be further encouraged and sent for training to England.

Rosary School Pune engrossed in activities #2
Ganapati Festival:
The students from the Rosary Schools, Pune were busy in making and decorating idols of the lord Ganapati. Their understanding of the God of wisdom and creativity was expressed by the children in a creative way through this novel concept. This provided an opportunity to explain to the children about how to avoid pollution. They were taught the ill- effects of using materials like poisonous colours, clays and their effect when the idols are immersed in the rivers providing drinking water. Children participated in the activity of making and decorating their favourite God Ganesha using their creativity and imagination.
Drawing Competition:
A Drawing Competition was recently organized at the Rosary School, Pune. Different topics were given to the students of different standards. The students were asked to put their own ideas in their drawings, based on the various discussions that the teachers had with the students on the various topics that they could choose from. They performed very well.
Sports Activities:
Sports activities serve various purposes in the Rosary School Pune. During the academic year participation of the students in various Inter-class and Inter-house competitions mentally and physically prepares them to participate in the Inter-school tournaments at the District Level and there after at the Zonal level.As part of their regular time-table Sports activities being conducted are :

Rosary School Pune engrossed in activities
The boys and girls from the Rosary Schools, Pune are on their toes throughout the year. Even though they are engrossed in various activities, their participation is whole hearted with tremendous enthusiasm. At Rosary all out efforts are taken to ensure that every student gains the most from all the varied activities . All this is possible due to the innovative ideas of the teachers and their team work with the students.
ARTS & CRAFT ORIGAMI
The Rosary School Pune Art and Craft teachers, thought of introducing the children to the art of ‘ORIGAMI’ . Origami was taught to the children. They enjoyed it and made number of fine creations.

The students participate in the events like flag hoisting, marching and present patriotic songs , giving the students the opportunity to take pride in thier history and hertitage. Patriotic songs were presented by the Senior Students.

Rosary School Pune in the limelight of sports
In the recent months boys and girls from the Rosary Schools, Pune displayed their talents in number of sports events and created an impact. They participate in large number of events in the inter-school competitions. Their success in the Inter School Competitions was remarkable. Many of them having performed exceedingly well at the district level and were selected to participate in the Zonal level competitions.
Rosary School Pune leaders in swimming -
Swarnim Barpatre won the GOLD MEDALS in the 50 meters, 100 meters and 200 meters [ Breast Stroke Style ] Inter School Swimming Competitions organized by the Zilla Parishad.
Pranit Ubhe won the GOLD MEDAL in the 200 meters Butterfly race and SILVER MEDAL in the 200 meters individual medley and 400 meters free style in the Inter School Swimming Competitions organized by the Zilla Parishad.
Rosary School Pune Boys and Girls shined in martial arts -
Siddhant Kodre won the GOLD medal in the Taekwondo District Level Championship Tournament for boys under 14.
Tejaswini Jawale won the GOLD medal in the Taekwondo District Level Championship Tournament for boys under 17.
Rosary School Pune Girl selected for Zonal competitions in Gymnastics
Arusha Gawari ranked second in Gymnastics at the District Level and is selected for the zonal competitions.
Rosary School Pune Students excelled in Skating -
Sanket Yadav and Dnyaneshwari Zite are selected to participate in the zonal level competitions of Roller Skating under the age 14.
Rosary School Pune Student impressed in Boxing -
Pravav Dhone ranked second in BOXING tournament in the group 70-75 kg under age 17.

SCIENCE CLUB
The students from the Rosary School Pune take keen interest in exploring and understanding the miseries and secretes of science. The best place to satisfy their curiosities and implement ideas is the Science Club. We at Rosary believe in the fact that, there is immense pleasure and thrill by doing the things with own hands and experiencing the things that are learnt in the class-rooms. This way the scientific minds are shaped. There could be geniuses like Einstein amongst them.

Developing the skills of reading and writing contributes to enriching the knowledge bank of the students. The boys and girls from the Rosary School Pune are encouraged to enhance their reading habit and become voracious readers. The library facility is always at their disposal. The Rosary boys and Girls take pride in writing also. Competitions in writing and hand writing skills are periodically organized.
AWARENESS OF SOCIAL ISSUES
While undergoing academic education, the Rosary School Pune students are made well aware of various social issues. Importance of the issues is impressed on their minds through activities like wall poster competition on a specific issue. The Rosary Students form groups put their ideas together and create meaningful displays which conveys the message effectively e.g. “Save your Girl Child”.
INVESTITURE CEREMONY
Leadership qualities and discipline are inculcated amongst the Rosary Pune School boys and girls through the formation of houses. These houses are lead by leaders (Prefects). Every year the new leaders take charge of their responsibilities from their predecessors at the Investiture Ceremony. The leaders take oath in this graceful dignified ceremony. The Investiture Ceremony at the Rosary Schools is a spectacular one. The Rosary boys and girls at large and their leaders take pride in demonstrating their leadership qualities through smart actions and movements at these functions.
On this day, the Head Boy and Head Girl were decorated with badges and given charge of their responsibility.
The head Boy, Head Girl, captains and vice captains of the last year handed over the responsibility to their successors in a grand function.
The Headmistress and the Honorable Chief Guest did the installation of badges of the students.
A cultural program was also presented. Our school song was presented by the choir.
The invested students took their oath with the flag bearers of the respective houses, viz – a – viz RUBY, SAPPHIRE, EMERALD AND TOPAZ.
MONSOON FESTIVAL
The Monsoon festival was celebrated during August 2012 at the Rosary School Pune.
The tiny tots from of the preparatory school of Rosary Pune School came to school dressed in dressed in Green. Their Motto for the day was “save the Earth, Plant Trees”
A school rally was taken with messages related to environment.
The mothers of the tiny tots also contributed to the event. They filled their dear ones Tiffin with snacks made with green ingredients. A variety of cuisine was seen in the Kid’s Tiffin.
To bring in the monsoon fever many games were organized for the students.
They were all different water games packed with fun.
The young buds filled bottles with the cap, tried filling water with their palm and enjoyed playing with water
Prizes were distributed to the winners which was very motivating.

The students from the Rosary School Pune are exposed to the challenges and hazards of GLOBAL WARMING Global warming. Importance of preserving the environment is impressed upon them. At Rosary, the children worship the nature by observing the Green Day. They dress in GREEN to match the greenery and plant saplings. Students from the Rosary Pune Schools enthusiastically participate in this activity.

Rosary School Pune Reviews – Avinash Joshi
Four years ago we were anxious parents looking to admit our daughter into a good school. She got selected in two schools, one of them being Rosary.
We did not hesitate in the least, and immediately confirmed her admission at Rosary School pune. It was the obvious choice because of the name, standard and success the institution has in Pune. Rosary is one of the best schools in Pune and has a consistent history of over 53 years. She is now studying in Std II at the Karve Nagar School.
Initially we were a bit hesitant as this is one of the newer schools started by Rosary Pune, but within a few days itself our doubts turned into confidence. The methods used for teaching are remarkable , personal attention is given to each child which has seen the children grow both in confidence and knowledge.
Since me and my wife are both working we find the teaching methods very effective and reassuring for us parents. Looking back , we are absolutely certain that we made the right decision. We wish the very best to The Rosary Pune Group and it’s staff.

Rosary School Pune Reviews – Mrs. Deokar
We are very proud to be associated with Rosary School Pune. Our daughter Niharika joined this Esteemed Institution in the year 2005. We as parents were very worried about our daughter’s education as we would only settle for a reputed institution .
By opening the Bibvewadi school , Rosary solved our problem as we know that this is a school with a long history of academic success and a long standing calibre in the field of education. Knowing that our child is studying at Rosary has given us much satisfaction and happiness.
The teaching standards at Rosary School Pune are very high indeed. Every student is fortunate enough to get personal attention by the teachers. The books both classwork and homework are always checked and suprisingly not a word remains unchecked. We are very thankful to the Principal and staff for all that they are doing for the students and for being so caring and co-operative.
It is our experience that although the Rosary School Pune is strict about discipline the students are never pressurized. We don’t remember a single day that our daughter didn’t want to attend school , even keeping her home when she is sick is a task as she still wants to attend her classes.
We are happy that apart from the regular study course the school is including so many extra-curricular activites in the students learning environment and all the students are encouraged to participate and explore their potential. Unfortunately last year there were some rumours being spread about the school, but we never faced any problems. In fact we are proud to be associated with Rosary , more Power to the school! Rosary School Pune Reviews – Tahera Chasmai
I consider it my privilege to pen down my experiences with Rosary School , Salunke Vihar. The school has gone from strength to strength under the expert guidance of Mrs. C.V. Aranha . It is the constant personal focus of the Headmistress and the Staff on each individual child that makes this school the outstanding institution that it is.
Rosary has done itself and all of us proud by maintaining an unblemished record of 100% results in the S.S.C & H.S.C. Examinations. Apart from excellence in academics, the school provides opportunities to all the students, involving them in various extra-curricular activities.
Special attention is paid to grooming and selfdiscipline of the children, instilling in them the importance of these qualities from a young age itself. Emphasis is given to mould the students into good , caring citizens and able leaders. The many cultural events and functions held in the school give the children a platform to showcase their various talents.
My sons Huzefa (Std IX) and Mustafa (Std V) have evolved into responsible and accomplished boys within the environment provided at the school. Rosary School Pune Reviews – Mrs. Shirin
These are the things that come to mind when one thinks of Rosary :
Discipline, Good education and Best results. As parents our priority is to provide a strong foundation in the growing years of our child and this is exactly what Rosary provides, giving the child a foundation that is built with the correct approach to studies and also building qualities like discipline and obedience .
The teachers are so dedicated and teach the children with such love and understanding the the children are constantly eager to learn more. It is my experience as the mother of a Vth Std child that in the past four years my child has not only been encouraged to study but has also been provided the encouragement and training to participate in various extra-curricular activities and competitions.
I truly appreciate the various physical activities like Sports and Yoga that are part of their curriculum and also the educational excursions and festivity based learning that the school provides.
I believe that every child has their talents and strengths, but these need to be recognized and nurtured at the right time and in the right method, this is exactly the practice followed by the teachers at Rosary.
I couldn’t imagine that my child, who was in the IV th Std then, could co-host the Annual Day function, but the efforts and the encouragement of the teachers made it possible for this to be yet another achievement for my child. It is not only the teachers but the Headmistress as well who takes a personal interest in the progress of every child.
I wish the teachers and the Management of the Rosary schools all the very best for all that they are doing to provide bright futures for all their students.

Rosary School Pune
Way back in 1958 on the 25th of March a dream sprouted on a rented premise at Camp, Pune. It was The Rosary School. This dream belonged to the Visionaries—Mrs. W. Aranha and Mr. A.G. Aranha. It was their experience and passion for education that made them take up this endless journey of knowledge. This small start became bigger and bigger and it soon evolved into a well-known and performance-conscious institution. Located at 14, Dr, Ambedkar Road, Pune, Rosary rose to become a full-fledged, multi-divisional school providing knowledge and inspiration to thousands.
Today after fifty one years we’ve risen to become one of Pune’s top ranking schools. We look back with pride and we know it’s a dream come true.
In 2002, the Rosary management realized the increasing response to the brand Rosary. They also saw the need for quality education across the length and breadth of Pune. This apart the demand from people had grown louder and this led to the opening of new Rosary Schools in different socio-geographic areas. And this is how a string of Rosary School came into being in and around Pune. The overwhelming response to the Rosary schools at Salunkhe Vihar Road and at Viman Nagar prompted more schools. And thereby came the Rosary School at Kothrud in 2003. Soon after schools at Warje and Bibewadi started. Later Hadapsar and Dhankawdi also had the brand Rosary edge.
